What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new law that replaces the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1988. It came into effect on 25th May 2018.
It extends the provisions of the existing DPA by replacing greater obligations on how organizations handle personal data and gives individuals more control over how their data is stored and used.

We take your privacy seriously and will only use personal information to administer the services we offer. We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. This privacy policy covers any information you provide us offline and through our Funky Dance Party website. By giving us the information requested, you understand that the data you provide will be used for running Funky Dance Parties and Liz Wilson business only.
Your information will be stored in a password protected database and by giving us your information, you are giving consent for us to use your data.

Your information will be used for
­Indentification
Emergency and general contact ( party/class cancellation etc)
Safeguarding (medical/allergy information)

Only when necessary, your information may be passed on to a third party:
County Council (in the event of a show)
Emergency services ( in the event of a medical/other emergency)
Schools (a list of attendees to ensure the correct children are taking to after school clubs/have made payment etc)
Parents/carer’s will be notified of any other passing on of information if necessary.

Your information will be kept for up to one year after your child’s last active date with Liz Wilson Dance or from the last Funky Dance Party.

Once your child has left, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting us and your information will be deleted from our database immediately.
